The PENNY LANES “WIN A FREE YEAR OF BOWLING” SWEEPSTAKES ("Sweepstakes") is sponsored by PENNY LANES ("Sponsor"). The Sweepstakes begins Tuesday, August 1, 2023 and ends Saturday, August 12, 2023.

1. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal United States residents, 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and the immediate family members of Sponsor, and their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotional agencies and promotional partners (collectively “Sweepstakes Entities”) are ineligible to enter or win the Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules, including, but not limited to, your consent to receive e-mail messages from Sponsor and/or Reaction solely in connection with the Sweepstakes.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Visit www.PennyLanes.com/Sweepstakes to enter. There is a limit of one entry per email (per person). To be eligible, all entries for Sweepstakes must be received by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Saturday, August 12, 2023, the Sweepstakes Expiration Date. Entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), forged, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will be disqualified.
3. SELECTION OF WINNER AND NOTIFICATION: Winners will be selected randomly from among all sweepstakes entrants the week of Monday, August 14. Sponsor’s decisions are final in all respects. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by e-mail by Sunday, August 20, 2023. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted during three (3) days from the date of the Sweepstakes drawing, or if he/she is found to be ineligible, or if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, an alternate winner may be selected. If winner is a minor in his/ her state of residence, prize will be awarded in the name of winner’s parent/legal guardian.
4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE AND ARV: (3) three Grand Prize Winners will be awarded (1) one year of free bowling at the Penny Lanes closest to their physical location.

The Penny Lanes (1) one free year of bowling consists of the following: (1) one bowling lane for (1) one hour for (52) consecutive weeks, including (1) pair of complimentary shoes, beginning the week of September 4, 2023.  Failure to redeem during any given week constitutes forfeit of that week’s prize, and may not be carried over to future weeks. The Grand Prize cannot be used for online booking or events - must be booked in person. Lanes are subject to walk in availability. The Grand Prize is non-transferable and may only be used by recipient. The Grand Prize winner must show Free Bowling card (furnished by “Sponsor”) with matching ID to redeem. No cash value. No purchase necessary.

There will be (1) one Grand Prize winner per location: Penny Lanes Delray Marketplace (Delray Beach, FL), Penny Lanes Parkside Town Commons (Cary, NC), and Penny Lanes Village (Fredericksburg, VA).

Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of all prizes is: (1) Grand Prize is valued at $6,000, so $18,000 TOTAL.

No cash or prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of the Sponsor. If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor, a substitute prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable

5. CONDITIONS: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these complete Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All applicable federal, state and local taxes are the responsibility of the prize winner(s). Sponsor, their officers, directors, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotions agencies are not responsible for, (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, stolen, postage due or illegible entries; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or usage of the prize; or (iii) printing, distribution or production errors. Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Entry and/or acceptance of prize(s) constitutes permission for the Sponsor and their agencies to use the winner’s name, address (city and state) and/or likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation or authorization, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, including without limitation Internet, unless prohibited by law. Winner may be required to complete, sign, notarize and return an Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability / Publicity Release prior to being awarded prize. Failure to do so if required may result in disqualification of the winner, and an alternate winner may be selected. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor at its sole discretion reserves the right to modify or cancel the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited.
6. DISCLAIMERS: Sweepstakes Entities are not liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance/possession and/or misuse of prize(s), participation in Sweepstakes, or any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer Internet system, computer data mechanism, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or any entries that are late (including delayed data transmissions), tampered with, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, postage-due, forged, illegible, mechanically duplicated, mass machine printed, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or third person’s computer and/or its contents, related to or resulting from Sweepstakes.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNIFY EACH OF THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR INJURIES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND SUSTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACCEPTANCE, USE, MISUSE, OR AWARDING OF THE PRIZE OR WHILE PREPARING FOR, PARTICIPATING IN, AND/OR TRAVELING TO OR FROM ANY PRIZE- OR SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED ACTIVITY INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY INJURY, DAMAGE, LOSS, DEATH OR ACCIDENT TO/ OF PERSON OR PROPERTY. THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION WILL NOT LIMIT OR EXCLUDE THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES’ LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR TANGIBLE PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES, OR FOR THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES’ GROSS NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD, OR INTENTIONAL, WILLFUL, MALICIOUS, OR RECKLESS MISCONDUCT.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WINNERS AGREE THAT THE PRIZE IS PROVIDED AS-IS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, WHETHER NOW KNOWN OR HEREINAFTER ENACTED, RELATIVE TO THE USE OR ENJOYMENT OF THE PRIZE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

EACH PARTICIPANT UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT ALL RIGHTS UNDER SECTION 1542 OF THE CIVIL CODE OF CALIFORNIA AND ANY SIMILAR LAW OF ANY STATE OR TERRITORY OF THE UNITED STATES ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY WAIVED BY HIM/HER. SECTION 1542 READS AS FOLLOWS:

“A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT THE CREDITOR OR RELEASING PARTY DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE AND THAT, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER, WOULD HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR OR RELEASED PARTY.”

7. COPY OF OFFICIAL RULES/WINNERS LIST: To obtain a list of winners (available approximately two months after the date of winner determination) or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request, including a self-addressed, stamped envelope, to Paragon Theaters, Attn: Marketing, 2461 W. Hillsboro Blvd., Deerfield Beach, FL 33442. Requests must be received within six (6) months of the end of the Promotion Period.
